Pueblito Boyacense

It is a charming spot that showcases the architecture and culture of the picturesque towns of Boyacá. Some of the charming characteristics of the town are its cobblestone streets, small squares and adobe facades. In this small town you'll enjoy a taste of Boyacá's culture.

Blanca beach (Lake Tota)

Blanca beach and Lake Tota come together to form a jewel of nature. The charm of this lake is in its dimensions; it is the largest in Colombia and is located more than 9842 feet above sea level.

Nobsa and Tibasosa

Nobsa, whose name comes from the Chibcha language that was part of the Boyacense territory, has industrial potential thanks to its artisan production. In addition to its artisans, the town is know for the Ruana Festival and its Christmas festivities. Tibasosa celebrates the Feijoa Festival in June surrounded by its picturesque architecture. It is also home to Guátika, a fantastic theme park with a zoo.

Monument to the Lancers, “Vargas Swamp”

This monument, declared national heritage, is the largest in Colombia and was created by sculptors Rodrigo Arenas Betancur and Guillermo González Zuleta. Its objective is to pay tribute to the battle of Vargas Swamp on July 25, 1819 in which 14 lancers triumphed and granted Colombia its freedom and independence. This area has excellent artisans and exquisite gastronomy. You can wander around its architectural sites with guides who wear the typical attire of the independence era.

Paipa: ITP, thermal waters and hydrotherapy center

The Thermal Institute of Paipa (ITP, by its Spanish initials) is a wellness space in Boyacá with a Hydrotherapy Center in the Paipa Thermal Park that offers therapies for relaxation and rest. Monguí (known for its production of soccer balls)

This city with abundant cultural history is known for its tradition since 1930 of manufacturing stitched and vulcanized leather soccer balls with a very particular artisan technique. They are distributed nationally and internationally across Latin America. It is also home to the emblematic doctrine church and the Calicanto bridge.
